Before launching Cook Today Lisa, she was a curious little girl standing on a stool, helping her grandmother stir the pot.

Growing up, Lisa spent countless afternoons in her grandmother Maria’s kitchen watching, listening, and learning the art of home cooking. There were no fancy tools or recipe books, just fresh ingredients, well-worn utensils, and the belief that cooking is love made visible. From stirring tomato sauce and kneading dough to tasting soup straight from the ladle, Lisa’s passion for food was shaped by tradition and heart.

Her grandmother’s simple Italian recipes, like minestrone soup, roasted chicken, and homemade pasta, laid the foundation for what would later become Lisa’s signature style: easy, flavorful recipes rooted in family tradition and comfort food.
