Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 ounces full-fat cream cheese (half block), cubed
¾ cup milk or half-and-half
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the cream cheese and whisk until melted and smooth.
Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly to blend.
Add Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until fully melted.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer on low heat for 2–3 minutes, then serve immediately over pasta, veggies, or proteins.
