- 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
- ½ whole Juice of lemon
- ½ teaspoon ginger freshly grated
- 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup optional
- 1 cup warm or room-temperature water
- ¼ teaspoon Optional: dried butterfly pea flower or brewed tea, cooled
- ¼ teaspoon Optional: camu camu powder
- 1 teaspoon Optional: brewed yerba mate cooled or a few drops of extract
Instructions
- In a glass, combine apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
- Stir in the grated ginger and sweetener, if using, until dissolved.
- Pour in warm or room-temperature water.
- If using any optional add-ins, stir them in now. For butterfly pea flower, steep the flowers separately and strain before adding.
- Mix well and enjoy immediately — preferably on an empty stomach for maximum benefit.
- To serve chilled, pour over ice and garnish with a lemon wheel or mint sprig.
