Description

Crispy, juicy chicken bites made from scratch with simple ingredients. Perfect for snacks, dinners, or game day.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs

  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup cornstarch

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  • Marinate with buttermilk, egg, and spices for 30 mins.

  • Mix flour, cornstarch, and seasonings in a bowl.

  • Dredge chicken in dry mix until evenly coated.

  • Heat oil and fry in small batches, 4–5 minutes per side.

 

  • Drain on a rack or paper towels. Serve hot with sauce.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.

  • Swap flour with almond flour for low-carb version.

  • Air fry at 390°F for 10–12 minutes for a lighter option.
