Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Marinate with buttermilk, egg, and spices for 30 mins.
Mix flour, cornstarch, and seasonings in a bowl.
Dredge chicken in dry mix until evenly coated.
Heat oil and fry in small batches, 4–5 minutes per side.
Drain on a rack or paper towels. Serve hot with sauce.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
Swap flour with almond flour for low-carb version.
Air fry at 390°F for 10–12 minutes for a lighter option.
