Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Description

Chicken pot pie made easy flaky crust, creamy filling, and rich flavor. A classic comfort recipe you’ll make again and again.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)

  • 1 cup carrots (sliced)

  • 1 cup peas

  • 1/2 cup celery (diced)

  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth

  • 3/4 cup whole milk

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 2 pie crusts


Instructions

  • Sauté veggies in butter.

  • Stir in flour, then broth and milk.

  • Add chicken and seasonings.

 

  • Fill crust, top, vent, and bake at 400°F for 35–40 mins.
