Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup white sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.

  • Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.

  • Beat in egg, yolk, and vanilla.

  • In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.

  • Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Scoop dough and place on baking sheet.

 

  • Bake for 10–12 mins. Let cool on tray 2 mins, then transfer to rack.
