Ingredients
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.
Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
Beat in egg, yolk, and vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 10–12 mins. Let cool on tray 2 mins, then transfer to rack.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temp up to 5 days.
