These cookie dough brownies combine fudgy chocolate with sweet, edible cookie dough in one indulgent, crowd-pleasing dessert.
Ingredients
Brownie Layer:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
Cookie Dough Layer (edible):
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp milk (or cream)
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Bake the Brownie Layer:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line an 8×8-inch pan. Mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Bake for 20–22 minutes. Let cool completely.Prepare Cookie Dough Layer:
Cream butter and sugars. Add milk and vanilla. Mix in heat-treated flour. Fold in chocolate chips.Assemble:
Spread cookie dough over the cooled brownie layer. Press gently to flatten. Chill 30 minutes before slicing.
Serve:
Cut into squares and enjoy chilled or at room temp.
