Description

Crispy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with a creamy garlic-parmesan sauce easy to make, packed with flavor, and rooted in Italian family tradition. Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (or almond flour for keto)

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon zest


Instructions

  • Pound chicken evenly to ½ inch thick. Pat dry and season both sides.

  • Set up breading station: flour → egg → breadcrumbs + parmesan.

  • Bread each chicken piece and let rest for 10–15 minutes.

  • Cook chicken: pan-fry in oil until golden, bake at 400°F for 20–25 mins, or air fry at 375°F for 12–14 mins.

  • In a pan, melt butter. Sauté garlic 30 seconds.

  • Add cream; simmer, then stir in parmesan and seasoning.

  • Simmer 3–5 minutes until thick. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

 

  • Plate crispy chicken and spoon sauce on top. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use almond flour or crushed pork rinds for low-carb version.

  • Let breaded chicken rest before cooking for better crust.

  • Reheat in air fryer or oven to keep crispy.
